Twilight at Traxler, A Magical Fall Event

Traxler Park
600 N Main St., Janesville, WI 53545

Recommended For All ages

October 14-17

6-8pm

Due to the rapidly changing situation with COVID-19, the City of Janesville Recreation Division cannot run our Enchanted Forest (EF) and Hollywood Hayride (HH) community event in the capacity we have in the past. We will be rebranding the event this year and doing a drive-thru style event with no scripts or acting, but having lights, inflatables, and scenes. It will run as a reverse parade where the community will drive their vehicles around the loop in Traxler Park (600 N. Main Street) and see the shining lights, inflatables, and scenes as they drive through our magical fall event.

Our event name is Twilight at Traxler, “A Magical Fall Event”. This great community event will still be held in October for four consecutive nights (Wednesday, October 14 through Saturday, October 17). This event will be a partnership with the Hedberg Public Library and the Optimist Clubs, and will continue to be a non-scary, special event for families with young children. There will be scenes from famous fairy tales and movies/tv shows with some real-life characters dressed in costume at select scenes.

Rules:
Tune your radio to 1600 AM to hear Halloween music while you drive!
Wear a face mask while interacting with staff & volunteers
Remain in your vehicle while driving through the loop
No stopping! We recommend a speed of 5-10mph while in the loop

Drivers: Please be attentive and focus on the road for other vehicles and obstacles
No smoking, vaping, or consuming alcoholic beverages while in the event area
If you plan to buy from the food vendors, please only send one person from your vehicle to order.

FREE, donations welcome.
